Police Complaint Facepalm

by vipergtsrz at 07:01 AM Share your /facepalm story

A man called the police because he didn't get what he paid for when he tried to hire a prostitute. He says that he paid two people to have sex with him, but they did not "deliver as advertised".

Maybe it isn't clear enough to some people that prostitution is illegal. Maybe he should have called the Better Business Bureau instead.

Forms for taxi drivers offered in Braile

by vipergtsrz at 07:42 AM Share your /facepalm story

According to The Sun, there is a company that offers Braille translations for forms that taxi drivers fill out to apply for a job.

It's not such a big deal that they offer it, because I'm sure it's just an overall service. The funny thing about this is that the company defended the need to have the form offered in Braille, even though it's obvious that there would be no need considering taxi drivers would probably need the ability to see while driving.

AT&T being dumb again

by vipergtsrz at 07:43 AM Share your /facepalm story

For some reason, I've never liked AT&T. Maybe it's because they have horrible customer service or because they don't deliver what they promise. Who knows?

Because of my distain for AT&T, I laughed when I read this article about how AT&T is talking about trying to find ways to offer customers incentives to limit data usage on cell phones.

Considering that AT&T has arguably the best smart phone, don't you think they would understand that they would need to have a network that could handle the load? I don't understand why a company like AT&T would even talk about trying to give incentives to users to not use as much data. Here's an idea, how about you put money into your network to beef it up and make it more reliable?

AT&T tried to sue Verizon for their "There's a map for that" commercials and then they made their own commercials to fight against Verizon. How much money did they spend on the lawsuit and the commercials when they could have just expanded their 3G coverage and made their network more reliable?

I can't wait to see what other /facepalms AT&T will make

US Drones being watched with simple program

by vipergtsrz at 07:31 AM Share your /facepalm story

According this this article, it is possible for anyone to "spy" on a US Drone aircraft just by using a simple program from SkyGrabber.

If this is true, not only is it a huge /facepalm, but it is also a massive security leak for anyone who wants to see what the US Military is seeing.

There's nothing better than a US Government /facepalm
