Scientists are trying to get permission to spill 1,200 litres of oil into the Arctic Ocean in order to test new ways to clean up oil spills.

I'm no genius, but that sounds counterintuitive to me. If there is already enough oil in the Arctic Ocean to warrant a test like this, don't you think that oil would be the way they could test their new theories?

I might be totally wrong, but it does sound kind of funny that they need to put more oil in the water just to test ways to get oil out of the water that's already there.

According this this article, it is possible for anyone to "spy" on a US Drone aircraft just by using a simple program from SkyGrabber.

If this is true, not only is it a huge /facepalm, but it is also a massive security leak for anyone who wants to see what the US Military is seeing.

There's nothing better than a US Government /facepalm
