A Kootenay man was rushed to hospital after accidentally shooting himself in the head with a crossbow on Wednesday morning.
The accident happened just before 5 a.m. PT at a party at the man's
house in Grasmere, near Fernie in southeastern B.C., according to Cpl.

The 19-year-old was flown to a hospital in Calgary to have the projectile, known as a bolt, removed.
The RCMP did not release the man's identity or further details about
his condition, but said they suspected liquor consumption contributed
to the incident.
