This mother from PA is accused of changing her daughter's grades at the same school she works at as a secretary. According to the article, she used many of her co-worker's passwords to access the grading system of the school in order to change her daughter's grades to increase her standing in the school she was attending. I see a few problems with this...

• The woman not only changed her daughter's grades, but she also had to lower the grades of other students in order for her daughter to have a better standing in the school.
• Who in their right mind thinks anything good can come from this for the child? Seriously. Right before graduation, her daughter thinks she's barely getting by and then they announce her name in the ceremony with high honors or something? Who cares?
• What kind of example does this show her daughter? I thought kids were the ones that were supposed to sneak into the system and change their own grades. Now parents are doing it?
• The mom also decided to take it on herself to change the her daughter's SAT scores. There's a bright idea...no one will catch that...(that's how she got caught)
• Is she really that bored? She really careed about her daughter's grades that much that she would risk going to jail for life just to boost them up a little? Gee mom, I love you and all, but I would really prefer a few better grades instead of having a mom.

I really can't believe how stupid people can be. It always surprises me. /facepalm
